You are absolutely sure you're compatible? Check contacts on the bottom of the foot and those instant (not hot shoe on the horse) on camera. If you don 't match you must fully use a cable of synch. Of course, its possible the hot shoe pi? does not work due to age. Your best move was to visit a store camera and ask their advice. Check the home page Pentax and perhaps you can then send the e-mail for an answer.

Ensures that the flash is placed firmly in the hot shoe. If it 's not setting good physical contact with the hot shoe, the flash won' t be? triggered. Also, check the hot shoe flash and shall contact to tarnish or corrosion. You need to clean the hot shoe with a Q-tip plunge in some rubbing alcohol to rid dell'appannamento; same for instant contact. The flash should be adjusted to the car, which I think are red or green on the back. The white? Manual (flash of full power). Here 's how the flash works at a K1000: Have you set the speed? Shutter 1 / 60 or more? slow (that 's what are they? X? l?). Have you set all the iso on flash, and then look on top of the scale. If the instant power? set of Greening, choose the opening of the Green Line. If the flash? set color red, choose to open the red line. The color red has pi? exit the green. The maximum range for automatic? 12 'for green and 24' for red color (which should correspond to your flash, I hope). Now if you 'VE has cleaned the contacts and finally are making good physical contact with each other and you' re still not getting a flash, then there 'option? s three: 1) the flash? defective, and 2) the camera 'the hot shoe of s? failure or 3) both 1 and 2). You can try 1) trying another SLR (just goes to the filing of the camera and a test of SLRs). You can try 2) trying another flash (well, Finch? You 'Re in the store for test of flash, what are they? Not?). Eventually, it 's just a dirty instant contact. Edit: I don 't know the perch? People wondered if the flash? compatible. The K1000 has a hotshoe unskilled and the flash output has both manual and automatic, and devotes only works with cameras that have the right contacts in the hot shoe. With Pentaxes unskilled, the flash? Manual or automatic, without dedication. If you don 't know this, shouldn' t reply
